Learn Liberty’s video, We Are Not Equal Under The Law, is nominated at this year’s Orlando Film Festival
Students For Liberty is happy to announce that one of Learn Liberty’s videos, We Are Not Equal Under The Law, was nominated at this year’s Orlando Film Festival. The festival takes place on October 29 – November 5, 2020.
We Are Not Equal Under the Law features Aaron Bosset, founder of the Black Cannabis Commission, where he addresses the difficulties that black people face in the United States due to the ongoing War on Drugs. The video was released in light of Breonna Taylor’s death and the development of the Black Lives Matter movement.
The video was produced by Learn Liberty, a project powered by Students For Liberty, in partnership with the video production company, Motivo Media, directed by Tim Hedberg.
The Orlando Film Festival was named one of the “Top-25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World” by Moviemaker Magazine. It is an eight-day event exhibiting the best works in independent cinema from around the world. The festival, which has been around for over 15 years, awards feature prizes that amount to more than one million dollars.
The official screening session of We Are Not Equal Under The Law at the Orlando Film Festival is available to all participants who purchase tickets. To learn more about ticket deals, visit www.offvirtual.com.
